BENTLEY: BRAND GIGAPIXEL IMAGE
‘THE WORLD’S LARGEST CAR PHOTOGRAPH’
This new phase of our 'Be Extraordinary' brand campaign was inspired by an insightful quote spoken by actor Jean Reno in the original launch film.
It stated that extraordinary can be found:
“...in the smallest of details,
or the grandest of gestures.”
PRINT EXECUTION: WITH BLIPPAR INTERACTION
We brought this thought to life by creating an industry first: the world’s most extraordinary car photograph. It showcased both the craftsmanship on display in Bentley’s cars and the company’s commitment to technological innovation. The idea also resonated with an audience Bentley hadn’t spoken to directly before – not just High Net Worth Individuals, but also millennials and non-luxury car buyers.
Our ‘Gigapixel’ image took the viewer on an extraordinary journey – from a breathtaking vista of the Golden Gate Bridge to the intricate stitching of the Bentley emblem on the seat of a Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase, (which was the new model we focussed on). The ultimate demonstration of Bentley’s attention to detail, the asset we created worked across many platforms, including Instagram and Blippar. It also allowed us to generate a lot of interesting, shareable content.
Most of Keko London worked on this epic project. The team at its core though, were David Kerrigan, Piggy Lines, Pat Phoenix, Maja Macintosh, Andrew Hudson, Brendan McGrath, Flick Hunt-Taylor and myself.
